Since I’m currently interning at Club 21’s e-commerce department, I’d like to shine a light on our e-shop. We stock about 60 brands at our shop, of which my favourite are Markus Lupfer, Christopher Kane, Lanvin, Helmut Lang. And many more such as Isabel Marant, Elizabeth and James, Carven, Jil Sander and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
I’ve put together two different looks created with items you can find from the Club 21 e-shop. I’ve been veering towards more girly skirts and dresses these days, and it definitely shows in my collage below. My skinny jeans have been neglected.
Top: CDG Play
Skirt: Christopher Kane
Sandals: Ancient Greek Sandals
Top: Isabel Marant
Bag & Shoes: Lanvin
Do hit up our e-shop, all prices are inclusive of shipping, duties and taxes.
Random things that interested me today – Motonari Ono Spring 13 runway where models sashayed down the catwalk holding mannequins. So simple (no carousels), inexpensive (no escalators) yet so surprising. Love the concept.
Yay or nay? Marc by Marc Jacobs lambskin iPhone box bag.
Kate Spade Cordelia sunnies
Just a note to self on the jeans i’m currently lusting after.
Current/Elliott The Skinny in Love Destroyed
Best distressed jeans ever.
True Religion Cameron Boyfriend Jeans
The perfect slouch that doesn’t cross the line to sloppy town.
Straight-cut jeans are so underrated. In this heat and humidity you DON’T want to be wearing skinny jeans that stick to your skin. Straight-cut jeans give your legs just enough room to breathe, move, and basically look as badass as Rihanna. Rihanna has really nice pieces of clothing but usually screws them up at some point of dressing herself. This outfit below bowled me over though. I read some comments on it being sloppy, but I think it’s so cool. And I have been wearing a lot of such boyfriend jeans too, so it’s cool to see them work so well on a celeb.
I like mine with holes, rips, and cuffed at the hem. Nothing says swag quite like these jeans do.
Love everything on this page, dolce scarf, gucci brogues, miu miu pants, giambattista valli dress, ps1 and linda farrow luxe glasses.
Was shopping online for a birthday present and ended up looking at jeans again. Gotta share my faves….
Ever since I spotted Taylor Swift out in Goldsign I started paying a lot more attention to it and I looove the jeans they make. Taylor wears the normal Lure skinny jeans, but these below are the high rise skinny jeans (in zagir). I think it is so thoughtfully well made.
Does this pair of salmon pink jeans spell true religion at all. Not really but that’s what it is. So sweet and pretty I LOVE. Serena jeans in rustic river.
I’m not a shorts person. But the tropical weather in Singapore calls for it sometimes, and also when I go on beach holidays. I wouldn’t splurge $300 on shorts but these are exactly the kind I would wear! Mid thigh and the wash is very casual. (7 for all mankind mid roll up shorts in california del sol)
IMO, J Brand really isn’t worth its price. But these mid rise pocket jeggings in veruca look like they’ll go with everything in my wardrobe. hmm.
How beautiful are these joe’s jeans skinny in leddi? It’s impossible to find such a wash anymore. Must buy… But must try first
Rich & Skinny legacy jeans in doe leather. Read lots of good things about this fit.
I fell in love with the beautiful gold starfish earrings first. And then I found the Balmain t-shirt so bad ass. So I put together a high end, luxurious big ass mother fucker look.
Heels: Charlotte Olympia
Glasses: Cutler & Gross
Clutch: Alexander Mcqueen
Earrings: Vanessa Kandiyoti
All from net-a-porter.
While shopping recently, I spotted these Valentino Rockstud ankle wrap flats. A lady was trying them on and my mom pointed them out to me. They are the best rendition of the original Rockstud so far I think. A beauty.
It’s actually much much nicer in black patent leather…
Shoe porn of the day I guess!
I don’t know why I haven’t blogged about this sooner, but I guess I haven’t been blogging much at all. This Levi’s ad (below) is hands down my favourite ad of the year.. It’s actually the latest installment in Levi’s ongoing Go Forth campaign which I find so rebellious and carefree. I love it.
To me, this isn’t just an ad. The main focus of the ad isn’t Levi’s jeans, it’s the huge white writings that span across two pages in magazines and half the pages. And the message resounds in your mind, you linger a while longer to appreciate the teenagers being young, wild and having fun. Suddenly you feel the fire inside you, but first, to a Levi’s store!
Sadly, a Levi’s store never excites me. Firstly, I’m not going anywhere near those ugly Curve ID jeans, *no offence* to anyone who bought them but what the hell did they do to the back pocket logo?? It’s fugly and the washes are all so bad and dated. I’m not sure about the fit because I never bothered to try them but my mom didn’t look that awesome in them…
The jeans they currently stock are all unworthy of such a rad campaign. I’m sorely disappointed that they’re not communicating internally because the product and the ads have such different objectives. While the ad is distinctly young and fun, the products are more suited for people like my mom *no offence* again.
Also, the stores, the people who work at the stores, and the people who are shopping at the stores contribute to the shopping/ buying levi’s experience and they all are less than exciting.
That said, amazing ad campaign. Very uplifting and inspiring.
